Callejon expects to see out Napoli contract

Spain international forward Jose Callejon is very happy at Napoli and expects to see out the remainder of his contract with the Serie A club.

Callejon is under contract until 2020, having arrived from LaLiga giants Real Madrid in 2013.

And the 29-year-old has no plans to leave any time soon.

I m very happy there and I always say that, Callejon told Granada Hoy.

That goes for both me and my family, we re happy there, the fans and the club treat us wonderfully. We ll stay there.

I ve renewed and I expect to stay in Azzurro for four more years.

Callejon has scored seven goals in 12 Serie A appearances this season.

Borussia Monchengladbach fortified their left-back position on Tuesday, signing Nico Schulz from Hertha Berlin and extending Oscar Wendt s contract.

Schulz signed a four-year deal with Gladbach, ending his period with Hertha with 92 league appearances across five years, while Wendt agreed to stay at the club until the end of the 2017-18 Bundesliga season.

Sporting Lisbon have announced on their official website that they have signed midfielder Danijel Pranjic on a free transfer.

The Croatian international has signed a three-year deal with the Lions after successfully passing a medical at Joao Alvalade.

The left winger, who can also act as a left full-back, had been a free agent since leaving Bayern Munich in June.

Pranjic appeared to be on the verge of joining an unnamed Chinese club back in May, but the transfer eventually fell through.

The former Sporting CP star arrives on a season-long loan and he can be seen as a marquee signing for the MLS side.

Oddly enough, it was former Vancouver Whitecaps winger Mauro Rosales who recommended Montero as he knew head coach Carl Robinson had been on the lookout for a new number nine.
